Terms of Use and Purchase
Last updated: October 2026
This is an English translation provided for convenience. The Hebrew version is the legally binding version and prevails in case of any discrepancy. Read the Hebrew version (לנוסח העברי).
1. General
Welcome to the website of Meirav's Studio (הסטודיו של מירב), owned by Meirav Sabag Rachamim (מירב סבג רחמים), Licensed Dealer (Osek Murshe) No. 029616554 ("the Business", "we"), which operates the Meirav's Studio jewelry store and studio ("the Website"). Use of the Website, registration with it and placing orders on it are subject to the terms below. Browsing the Website or placing an order constitutes acceptance of these terms and of the Privacy Policy.
The Hebrew terms are worded in the masculine form for convenience only, and they apply equally to all genders. Section headings are for convenience and are not used for interpretation.
2. Who may purchase on the Website
- Purchasing on the Website is permitted to an adult (aged 18 or over) with legal capacity, a valid email address and a valid means of payment lawfully at their disposal.
- A minor may purchase on the Website only with the consent of a parent or guardian.
- The Business may refuse to fulfil an order in accordance with the law, for example where misuse or the provision of incorrect details is suspected.
3. Your account on the Website
- You may purchase with or without an account. Opening an account lets you see your order history, save your shopping bag and easily purchase again.
- You must provide correct details and take reasonable care to safeguard your password and the means of access to your account. If you become aware of unauthorized use of your account, please notify us promptly. Liability for an unauthorized action in the account will be determined according to the circumstances and the law.
- You may ask at any time to close your account by contacting us using the contact details at the bottom of the page.
4. Products, prices and stock
- We make every effort to present the products accurately. There may be slight differences in appearance between the photos and the product, for example in shade, due to lighting and screen settings. These differences do not detract from our commitment to the product's description, dimensions and materials as set out on the product page.
- Some of the jewelry is handmade, so there may be small differences from piece to piece. The materials of each product (for example 925 sterling silver, gold-filled or gold plating) are detailed on the product page.
- Prices on the Website are stated in New Israeli Shekels and include VAT. Shipping fees, if any, are shown at checkout before payment.
- The Business may update prices, promotions and products from time to time. The binding price is the price displayed when the order was completed.
- In the event of an obvious clerical error in the price or description of a product, the Business may cancel the order and refund the full payment. If an ordered product is out of stock, we will notify you promptly and offer an alternative if one exists. If the customer does not choose it, we will cancel the order and refund the full payment.
5. Ordering and payment
- Orders are placed through the secure checkout of the Wix platform. The order confirmation and the transaction details document are sent to the email address provided.
- Payment is made through authorized external payment providers (such as credit card acquirers and PayPal). Credit card details are transferred directly to the payment provider and are not stored by us.
- An order is considered confirmed once it has been approved by the credit card company or payment provider.
- Coupons and benefits are subject to the terms published for them.
6. Shipping and pickup
- The shipping options, their cost and the delivery date or delivery window are shown at checkout before payment, and they bind the Business. If a delay is expected, we will update the customer promptly, and nothing in the foregoing detracts from the customer's rights under the law in respect of late delivery.
- For shipments abroad, taxes, customs duties and fees charged in the destination country are borne by the customer, unless stated otherwise.
- We recommend checking the package upon receipt and informing us promptly of any damage or missing items.
7. Cancelling a transaction and returns
Cancellation of a transaction is carried out in accordance with the Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981, and the regulations enacted under it.
- A purchase made on the Website may be cancelled within 14 days from the day the product was received or from the day the transaction details document was received, whichever is later.
- A cancellation notice may be given by phone at 052-284-7777, orally at the Business's premises, by registered mail to 34 Mendele Mocher Sfarim St., Kiryat Ata, Israel (מנדלי מוכר ספרים 34, קריית אתא), by email at meirav.sabag@gmail.com, or through the cancellation page on the Website. The notice must state your name and ID number. For quick identification, we recommend also stating the order number.
- A customer who belongs to the eligible populations under section 14C1 of the Law (including senior citizens, persons with disabilities and new immigrants) may, where its conditions are met, cancel within four months from the day of the transaction, from the day the product was received or from the day the transaction details document was received, whichever is later. Eligibility is as defined in the Law.
- Opening the packaging or using the product does not in itself negate a right of cancellation that exists under the law, including when purchasing earrings and piercing jewelry. Where possible, we ask that the product be returned with its packaging and accessories. This does not detract from the Business's right to claim damages for a significant deterioration in the condition of the product, in accordance with the law.
- The refund and the cancellation of the charge will be carried out within 14 days of receiving the cancellation notice. Where the cancellation is due to a defect, non-conformity, late delivery or another breach on the part of the Business, no cancellation fee will be charged, and the customer will make the product available to the Business at the place where it was delivered to them. Where the cancellation is for any other reason, a cancellation fee of 5% of the transaction price or ILS 100, whichever is lower, will be charged, and the customer will return the product to the Business's premises at their own expense.
- The exception to the right of cancellation applies to goods made specially for the customer following the transaction, such as a piece of jewelry with a personal engraving, insofar as the conditions of the exception under the law are met. Choosing a standard option from a selection offered on the Website, such as a color or size, does not in itself negate the right of cancellation. The exception does not detract from rights in respect of a defect, non-conformity or breach of the transaction.
8. Product warranty and care
- A product found to have a manufacturing defect will be replaced or repaired in coordination with the customer. This arrangement is an additional commercial commitment and does not detract from the right of cancellation, from a refund or from other remedies available to the customer under the law. A refund will be made to the means of payment, and not as a credit voucher, unless the customer chooses so.
- The commercial warranty does not apply to damage actually caused by use that does not match the product's properties and the care instructions provided, such as exposure to substances we warned against on the product page or in the instructions. Jewelry care instructions are published on the Website, and we will be happy to advise.
- If you have a known sensitivity or allergy to metals, we recommend consulting us before purchasing. A personal reaction to a material does not in itself indicate a defect, but neither does it negate the Business's liability under the law.
9. Studio services: ear styling and piercing
- Ear styling and piercing services are provided at the studio by prior appointment. Please let us know of any cancellation or change to an appointment as early as possible.
- As a studio policy, piercing for anyone under the age of 18 will be performed only in the presence of a parent or guardian and with their documented consent, after verification of age and identity. In addition to the parent's consent, the minor's own consent to the procedure will be required.
- Before piercing, the customer will be asked to fill in a consent form and a health questionnaire, and will receive an explanation of the relevant risks and the aftercare instructions, with the opportunity to ask questions. The Business may refuse to perform a piercing if there is a concern for the customer's health.
- A complication during healing does not in itself indicate negligence, but neither does it negate the Business's liability. The significance of not following the aftercare instructions will be examined according to the circumstances of the case and the law. At any sign of infection, please see a doctor.
10. Intellectual property
All rights in the Website and its content, including the photos, designs, texts, logo and trademarks, belong to the Business or to rights holders who have permitted it to use them. They may not be copied, reproduced, distributed or used commercially without prior written approval.
11. Liability
- The Business's liability will be determined in accordance with the law. Nothing in these terms exempts the Business from liability for bodily injury, wilful misconduct, negligence or breach of a duty that cannot be contracted out of.
- We work to ensure that the Website operates properly. There may be faults or temporary interruptions, and we will address them promptly.
- Links to external websites, if any, are provided for convenience only.
12. Privacy and mailings
The use of personal information provided on the Website is described in the Privacy Policy. Marketing mailings will be sent only to those who have given their express consent, and consent may be withdrawn at any time, in accordance with section 30A of the Communications (Telecommunications and Broadcasting) Law, 5742-1982.
13. Changes to the terms
The Business may update these terms from time to time. Each order is governed by the terms in force at the time it was placed.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms and the use of the Website are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Jurisdiction lies with the competent courts in Israel, subject to any law.
